Summer Reading and Math Assignments

 

Below are the summer assignments by grade level.  Please make sure that your child/children are prepared for the beginning of school by reading the books and doing the math assigned to their level.  All reading books are also available at the Skokie Public Library.  The 64 page version of the math books are available at Walgreens (and maybe other stores).

For Students Entering 1st Grade

Essay Writing Contest

Huntington Learning Centers sponsored an essay writing contest at Arie Crown during the month of March. The winners of the contest are Talia Domsky (2nd Grade) and Chana Raizel Minkus (5th grade). Thank you to all of the students that entered the contest and wrote essays about their favorite adults at Arie Crown. All of the entries are wonderful. Talia and Chana Raizel have each won a pizza party for their classes! Thank you also to Huntington Learning Center for sponsoring and judging the contest.
